English grammar interests me. So I am interested in English grammar.
Does the possible purchase of this house interest you? Are you interested in buying this house?
The news interests them. They are interested in the news, so they read the BBC news website.

The interpretation of the adverb "really" is, in my opinion, very interesting.
Did I like the experience? Well, let's just say that it was a very interesting experience. (Some native speakers use the word "interesting" when they do not want to tell their real opinion.)
It is very interesting to read the questions and answers here at English Forums.

I am very interested in the history of newspapers because I find journalism very interesting.

("interested" refers to "I"; "interesting" refers to "journalism.")
