Meaning

Hi,

I have to write an article but i have a problem with s.th in it's format.

Here is he problem:

text:Use the automatic page numbering function to number page .Don't use field function.

I don't have any idea about field function.

wouuld s.one please help me with the meaning of that?

Hi Rashin; Is your word processing program Microsoft Word? " It allows you to insert computed variable functions like the "Date Created", "Date Printed", "Page number", "Number of pages" and lots of other values. The other versions have Field functions as well, but it may be on a different menu.

Is your word processing program Microsoft Word?
If you use Version 2003 (or earlier versions, too), then go to the Insert menu, and look for "Field..."
It allows you to insert computed variable functions like the "Date Created", "Date Printed", "Page number", "Number of pages" and lots of other values.
