Today, my client on 19th ave called me to help her DSL connection. She is from Canton and she is married. She has a lovely son, he is cute and smart with a pair of big eyes. I talked with her son for while and her mom thought we’re so alone. So she came out with the idea for letting me to give her son lesson on all the computer stuff lessons start from 9/14, 2-3 a week. I agreed because I thought her son is so lovely.
The Client her mom loves her child a lot, but she is so mean to her husband, I mean it so mean. During the DSL installation, I need one of the CD came with her computer, so I asked her can I have it, she remembers there is a cd like that before in the CD case some where, however, she can’t find it. So, she call her husband and Yelling on him for the CD, She even used few heavy words to her husband. And she hang up on her husband without saying bye stuff. The worst thing is she is next to me when she was talking to her husband. So, I thought her temper was so bad. This really reminds me something in the past me and my EX EX girlfriends, we’re fighting all the time, and she was just like her, yelling on me when she’s temper is on. I feel so bad for her husband having such wife in his wife. I will never find a mean wife, ever. If I found one, I’ll divorce with her right the way, there is no question ask on that. I am sick of mean girls during my relationship and I don’t want a mean wife for the rest of my life. Am I right?

Recently I have been reading a grammar book by Geraldine Woods. She talks about three engilshes, which I think you might find useful. My version of your edited blog follows that.

She recommends usage of formal english for business letters, reports, presentations, conversation with your clients while conversational english for chats, emails, bulletin boards etc.

You may want to be sure which type do you want to go with. I have edited your blog thinking you want to go with formal english..Hope it helps

A Mean Wife

Today, my client on 19th ave called me up to help with her DSL connection. She is from Canton and she is married. She has a lovely son, who is cute, smart and has big eyes. While I was talking to her son, she asked me if I could help her son with computer lessons, starting 9/14, some 2-3 times a week.

I agreed, because I thought her son was so lovely. While my client, the mom, loves her child a lot, she is very mean to her husband, very mean in fact. During the DSL installation, I needed one of the driver CDs that came with her computer. She remembered that there was in fact such a CD, but she could not find it for me. So she called her husband up over the phone and started yelling at him. She even used disparaging words and hung up on him without saying even goodbye.

And she did that right next to me which I think indicates that her temper is so bad. This reminds me of my relationship with my former girl friend. We were fighting all the time and she was just like my client, who could not help yelling at me when her temper was on.

I feel so bad for my client’s husband having such a wife. I do not think I will ever find such a mean wife. However, if I found one, I will divorce her right away, without even a second thought. I am sick of mean girls in my relationships and I would never want to have a mean wife. After all who can endure spending the rest of life with such a wife. Am I not right?

After viewed yours and mine, i truly see the difference. so, my writing problem is the way how i write? You know what, i really want to write in a formal way like you do on this , but i just can't. Maybe you're right, i need to read more. But i can't read since when i was in high school. You know why? it is because in most of case i can't understand what the authors are trying to say so i got confuse all the way. Therefore, i can't follow the store of the book, then i will fallen sleep all the times when i read a book. Is there any advise on book mohan? i mean easy to understand book, funny story. Thanks.

A new immigrant client

I got a called from a client who speaks Cantonese only today. He called me around 5pm .I was still on the way back to S.F from work. He needs to have his laptop video chat with his wife in China. I sooner told him my address to ask him bring the computer over. He has a heavy Canton TaiShang accent, I can briefly understand what he is saying. Anyway, he said he’s from Sacramento and he only knows the Chinatown area in S.F. He can’t find my address even I give him my address. So, I told him that I can’t help him in this case. He sounds very upset and ask me if I can do his favor by drive to Chinatown and pick him up. He said he is a new immigrant came here few months ago and now is working for a restaurant in Sacramento. He lives by himself and he needs to use the computer to communicate with his wife in China. And he said he drove 3 hrs to S.F just to find me.. so on. I didn’t know how to refuse after what he said. So I agreed. I drove to the Chinatown and picked up and drive back to my house fix up this computer in his needs. He is very typical TaiShangese who talks a lot, I mean non-stop talking kind. he needs a webcam and he doesn’t know what it is, so I bring him to the Best Buy in downtown to show it to him and give him the advise. I drive back to home after we stop by the best buy place. We chat a lot while I was helping him with the computer, from how he was able to make to U.S. How he misses his wife in China so much after he came here. How he doesn’t like this country. I used a full 4 hrs to help him with the computer and a deep conversation with him. I had so much of concerns after I drop him back to the Chinatown. After talked to him, I reflex back 12 years ago when I arrived this country alone by myself. I was a young boy who doesn’t know anything about here. The Language; The culture; The people. It was hard; it was horrible; Life was really sad during my first 3 year in U.S
I really don’t feel like to talk about it. Anyway, I was glad that I can help that dude today for the whole thing.

Nice place in Oakland

There is another Client just called when I was at work. She lives in Oakland. I didn’t go home first after work; I went straight to her house since it’s much closer from Fremont to Oakland. I got her address but I didn’t map it on the internet, I realized that what I on the freeway to her house. So, I called Lei to his store and ask him for the direction since he is always in front computer. He couldn’t locate the place either, so I have to call the client up and ask for the direction. I finally made it to her house. Her house is not in the center of Oakland, it is really aside of Oakland and its on the mountain. But the house is truly huge and beautiful. The area is very quite and it has a rich feel too. I walk in to to house and it’s even nicer inside. The ceiling of the living room is 3 times high than my place. The floor is a new red wood made. She is **** rich. I never knew there is this kind of house in Oakland. They have no good houses in Oakland in my mind. Today, it proves me wrong. I was sitting outside in the living room and fix her computer, she pass me a bottle of water, speechless. and she said is this is the computer, help yourself and she walk back to her room .i guess she was on the phone or something, I heard the talking. There is her mom in the kitchen cooking. She greets me and left too. So, I was alone in this huge living room with the high ceiling. Her husband back to home after a hour and starting chat with me a little. From what he wears, I can easily tell that he is a business man. He asked me my background stuff and he introduces himself as a realtor. Man, no wonder he is rich. All successful realtors make a lot ***. He is from ShangHai as an immigrant here, he started his Real estate career since when he was 22. it’s been almost 10 years, and he made most of his goal he placed when he was young. I love to talk to the successful people, so I asked him his successful story. He told the story many store about him, and it’s like one hour long. I realize it’s already 10pm and I am only the half way done with my job there. He said, oh, just take the laptop and the desktop home, fix when ever you want. I agreed he left his house. On the way back to home, I was like, how can he trust a first time stranger for this 2 expensive computers? Anyway, maybe I think he doesn’t really care for these 2 high end computer, or it is the way he’s doing his business too base on the trust.

Here are the edited versions of your two blogs. I really have started enjoying editing your blogs. Some as these are so interesting! and all of them are funny!

Regarding helping you with writing, though I do not feel qualified to give you any suggestions ( the senior and advanced members would do the job much better ! ) still I will list down a few suggestions

1. Review : Please review your articles after you write them. You may review after completing a sentence or a paragraph and one review of the entire article is very necessary. Even while editing I review what I write and catch my mistakes.

2. Reading short stories is undoubtedly the most enjoyable way of learning english. I personally like short stories very much, both for vocabulary enrichment as well as sentence constructions. If you think you have had problems reading english since high school, then I would suggest going back to basics. You may consult a book store supplying textbooks for your local school and start with english readers/textbooks from grade 6. You would probably take a month to graduate to a text book of higher grade and probably in a year you would be able to write comparable and even better than high school students. [ Most/Many of the people do not learn much after high school in improving their english and so it is a pretty decent standard of english proficiency ]

He wanted his laptop to be set up for a video chat with his wife in China. I gave him my home address to bring the computer over to my place. He had a heavy Canton TaiShang accent and I could barely understand what he was saying.

Anyway, he said that he is from Sacramento and he knew only the Chinatown area in S.F. He said that he would not be able to find my address, even if he knew what it was. I told him, that given such a situation, I would not be able to help him. He sounded upset on listening this and asked me if I could do him a favor by driving to Chinatown and picking him up.

I love to talk to successful people, and so I asked him to tell me his story of how he came to be so successful. He said that he had many stories to tell and it would take about an hour to tell it. It was only then that I realized that it was already 10:00 pm and I was only half way done with my job there. He said that I could take the laptop and desktop home and fix whenever I want it and bring it back. I gladly agreed to that and left his house.

On my way back home, I wondered how could he trust a first time stranger with his two expensive computers? I think probably he would not care about his two high end computers or may be he did so because his business too is based on trust.

All women at one point get really mean.  It doesnt matter who you marry they will turn on you at one point.  Maybe not to the point of cheating but you will fall in and out of love the whole time your married.  The ones that stick it out to the end are rewarded.  Don't try and fool yourself and say it doesnt happen because it will and it does.  So, if you think your cool and "dat *** want happen to me" just get married and have a couple of kids and see just how low your nuts hang then.  Remember what I said "The ones that stick it out to the end are rewarded"
