Mean streak

Hi,

Can I say that ‘there’s a mean streak to/in her’ or only that ‘she has a mean streak’?

Thank you. Emotion: smile

Ann225 Can I say that ‘there’s a mean streak to/in her’ Yes, and you would be understood, but it doesn't seem as idiomatic as your other choice ( She has a mean streak ). CJ
