Meaing of this "come off"

Hi

Would you explain the underlined part?

I came off four weeks in Brazil without a strong result and I went home to reassess and do a bit of training and got really motivated. I flew over here by myself with just the goal of winning and stayed focused so it worked out."

Thank you,

M

So is it like, "I spent four weeks in Brazil for a compatition and went back home after that"?

I'm not sure how I should take the "four weeks"

Thank you,

I'll just rephrase the passage, which will hopefully be helpful.

"I spent four weeks in Brazil competing [presumably at some sport], but didn't do very well, so I went home to figure out how to improve, to do some more training, and to get more motivated to compete. I flew over here by myself, focused completely on winning, and maintained my focus, so everything turned out well."
