Me or I

Hi All,

Is "me too" correct? If yes, why "me too" and not "I too"?

Since in this sentence, I am the subject, the correct wouldn't be "I too"?

Thanks a lot

But why "me neither" and not "I neither", since I am the subject of the sentence?

Thanks in advance!

If you are learning English, it's better to learn this now rather than later.

Sometimes we say things a certain way because we say things a certain way. It's called being idiomatic.
