Me and Sarah /Her and I

Dear teachers, I wonder if you could help me with this:

I was watching a movie and I heard 1) "me and Sarah like it". It also happened that I was talking to somebody and this person (native speaker) said 2) : "Her and I went to the shop..."
I might be wrong but should not it be 1) "I and Sarah" or 2) "She and I..." . In other words, aren't they both subjects? If that is the case why object pronouns apply and when do we ise one or the other?

Thank you for your help!
