Me and my family's well being, or my and my family's well being

would I say "me and my family's well-being" or "my and my family's well-being"-- do I treat "me and my family" as one unit, or should they be considered separately? If they were in two separate sentences "It helps my well-being" and It helps my family's well-being" then it would be my, not me. But "my and my family's well being" sounds wrong.

Thanks

Hi Lainey, How about putting them in whole sentences? Then you can get a broader picture: He sacrificed his life for me and my family's well-being. I toiled hard for myself and my family's well-being.

Hi Lainey,

How about putting them in whole sentences? Then you can get a broader picture:

He sacrificed his life for me and my family's well-being.

I toiled hard for myself and my family's well-being.

thank you but I still do not know the correct usage- I didn't get from your response to an answer. I changed the sentence construction to avoid the problem:

The shelter really helped the well-being of me and my family.

You can say also:

The shelter really helped my family's well-being as well as mine.

Hi Paco,

Is it ok to use the same example in my sentence too?

He sacrificed his life for my family's well-being as well as mine. ( I find it too long..)
