If we use official language in Spoken language,Then Are we humiliated? i asked this because in Turkey, if you use like that, then u're funny.I mean If you use official language in Spoken language ,This'll be funny in turkey.All right,How is it in ENGLISH?

from wat i know even in england people use slang an talk informal on the street, it depends of the partner ur speakin with.....(a friend, ur teacher..) formal language is most of the time used when written..... and let me remind u again even on the paper it depends...lol...as u c im not typin in a formal way...XD

It depends on what you mean by 'funny'.

I'd say that, in some contexts, formal language can sound rather odd.

But remember that polite people don't laugh at how other people speak.
