Maybe even excited about (it).

At 0:33, Jimmy Kimmel said: "Now, if you got this text, you could reasonably assume that the person on the other end is happy about Dave coming to dinner. Maybe even excited about. But what about this?"

In the second sentence, did he say "Maybe even exited about it"? (I couldn't hear "it" at the end.) If he didn't, is it correct to omit "it" like this?

He kind of swallows the word "it", but I think it is there somewhere. Anyway, it wouldn't be natural to omit it.

Spelling: excited
