May you help me to correct my mistake (writing task 2)

Topic: Many people assume that the goal of every country should be to produce more materials and goods. To what extent do you agree or disagree that constantly increasing production is an appropriate goal?

Whether a country should produce more and more materials and goods is an issue of broad internet to the general public. Some people advocate that increasing production brings tangible and immediate benefits to a country. Nevertheless, to my way of thinking, increasing the manufacturing products may not be the best goal.

My first reason is that human well-being should be nurtured through a holistic approach that combines economic, social and environmental objectives. Economic growth gives an opportunity for many people to shake off poverty and live better off. I agree that increasing production of goods help people earn much more money, increase GDP and create more funds for social programs, but studies found that in the happiness countries have a higher GDP, people live longer, healthier lives; have freedom to make life choices; experience less corruption, more generosity and more equality of happiness. Thus, a country should not focus solely on economic growth at the expense of happiness, because if a society just chases on money, social fabric and faith in government can deteriorate. Moreover, many countries in recent years have achieved economic growth at the cost of sharply rising inequality, entrenched social exclusion and grave damage to the natural environments.

Another justification is that education, health care are of enormous significance to the well-being of a country. Improving the quality of education can pave the way for economic development. I personally think one of the most important goal is to provide inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Besides that, a nation should prioritise building a strong tradition of justice, impartiality, fairness and health care system better for everyone

To sum up, it is not about producing more materials and goals, but it should be more about promoting sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, good education and health care for all people.
