Hello,
Could you please explain to me if there is a difference in meaning between these two sentences I've written. I'm trying to understand if I should be using "may" or "might" here. I know that "might" is the past tense form of "may," but I'm confused as to which one is grammatically correct in this sentence.
Tom may never remember what happened that day, but Sean would never forget it.
Tom might never remember what happened that day, but Sean would never forget it.
Are both acceptable?

Yes.

Seldom. They are usually essentially anonymous.
