which one is correct??

1. may god bless you.

or

2. may god blesses you.

I never thought about this but the correct is: *** bless you. Why? Because *** isn't one.

*** are plural. Do you know what I mean?

*** = Father - Son - Holy Spirit

In fact the verb is in the "subjunctive form".

Here you can't have the "s"/"es" of the 3rd singular person also because there is "may", a modal verb...

Ex.:

"He may go out", and not "he may goes out"

The same happens with other modal verbs like:

might - must - can - should - would -
