Math terms - how do I say?

when you do division? or When you do a division?

in reference to numbers in a fraction, do I say number on the top and on the bottom? or at the top and at the bottom?

also, do I say write your name in the top right corner of the test? or on the top right corner? at the top right corner?

Thanks and have a good weekend!

Hi, those questions are a little tricky! I can only tell you my opinion: When do you do a division? = one operation in which you have to divide one term by another one The terms in the top of the first fraction are the same as the terms in the bottom of the second, yet we can't cancel them.

  • Write your name [in/on] the corner of the page.
  • Both, and I wouldn't know which I would pick as my first choice.
