Could I ask three questions, please?

(1)When we wanna say "6*6=12" in English, we say "Six times six equals thirty-six."
I know that "equal" is a verb here. Then how about "times" here?
Is it a preposition or anything else?

(2)When I wanna say "2+6-3=5" in English, is "Two plus six minus three equals five." correct?

(3)And how do we say "6+8-3*6/2=5" in English? "Six plus eight minus three times six divided by two equals five."???

Thank you so much.

First, please try to write in proper English here. 'Wanna' is not a word; it is merely a transcription of native pronunciation.
