All right mate.How are you doing ,mate?Cheers, mate.Are these Mate used for female too??I heard that ''mate '' is only for when you talk to a man, is that true??Also, is this usage of mate kind of rude in business ?I would be pleased if someone could give me answers.

This isn't used in American English, but is quite common in British and Australian. Since it is informal, one shouldn't use it in business or any other professional setting. I'm not entirely sure of whether it's restricted to men or not—I'm reasonably certain that it can be used to address women in Australia, at least—but my British friend tells me that this is not the norm in England at least.

I'm surprised that there is a difference in usage of mate between Brithish and Australian too.
English is so deep, I wish I were a native speaker.
