Are these Mate used for female too??
I heard that ''mate '' is only for when you talk to a man, is that true??

Also, is this usage of mate kind of rude in business ?

I'm surprised that there is a difference in usage of mate between Brithish and Australian too.
English is so deep, I wish I were a native speaker.
