Match better

Hi

Lycopodium (homeopathic medicine) is most often used for fear of public speaking, although Gelsemium (another homeopathic medicine) will work better if the physical symptoms match better.

What does the author meant by saying that the physical symptoms will "match better"? Physical symptoms of fear?

I found it on the Internet. She describes physical symptoms under each of the two "remedies", caused by different types of fear. She means that "Gelsemium" should be used for fear of public speaking, even though "Lycopodium" is usually used for that, if instead of farting, the patient is pooping his pants.
