It is obvious that masks are considered to be the most unique elements in the form of peking opera. This is the element helps viewers know what a character is like : loyal or deceitful, good or bad, honest or insincere , noble or lowly. For example, the red mask represents the most loyal character. the white mask is a fraudulent or cruel character. While blue one shows the character is brave. yellow one is supposed to be cruel and yellow or silver color symbolizes the Buddha, the devil ...
