Masculine garden party?

Hi, I've heard this in the last episode of american TVseries "New Girl";
Schmidt says "Nick... the theme is "masculine garden party."" and show him this paint that he made with his IPad, i think.

What does it mean?

Thanks

It just something Schmidt invented. He is a little eccentric. A garden party is a type of social gathering, generally outdoors, but often has the connotation of things that are pastoral (rural life), bontanical, or floral, and therefore, can be perceived as being feminine. Thus, he was simply trying to state that their party would be more masculine.
