Marry with? Discuss about?

A friend of mine recently took a test of English grammar, and there was this confusing question, which was

Q. Choose one grammatically wrong sentence.
1. She married with a rich man.
2. They have discussed about the energy issue.
3. Only a few students attended the class.
4. I'm going to leave NY next week.

And I told her that the answer might be 1. but I don't know the correct answer, yet.
Could anybody help me solve this one?

Anonymous Could anybody help me solve this one? Both #1 and #2 seem wrong to me, but I suspect that 'married with' might be acceptable in some Englishes. 'Discuss about' is definitely wrong—and a common error of learners.

Maybe they were giving you a choice. There are two incorrect sentences, #1 and #2.

They should instead read:
She married a rich man.
And
They have discussed the energy issue.
