·I visited Canada three times when I was single.
·I visited Canada three times when I was not married.

Do these three above sound OK and have the same meaning?

Technically, when we are describing two past events chronologically, the context needs to be in past perfect, and this is such case. But many people in casual contexts will accept simple past as an alternative.

Let's lay out the time line for discussion purpose:
You visited Canada in spring 1999, summer 2004, and Winter 2008. All these are past events
