0Anyone here likes to read Mark Twain's works, we can share opinions here.  I am reading a novel of him named  The Prince and The Pauper. I just enjoyed a few chapters in bus on the way to workplace and the home. The story is attractive, the language is not too much complicated, although there are a great number of indigestable old enlish words block my understanding .02br02br00At the beginning, the litter boy-Tom, who is born in a poor family, but intelligent, hope to be a well educated boy meets the prince accidently. Then he is asked to change the status with him. It happened, humble Tom becomes  the respected prince of Wales. 0-

0I think he's a great writer! I think some of his books will be hard for non-native speakers because his dialogue is hard and reflects the speech at the time. 02br

0 Although there are some rubbish excuses like the bad wether and being exhuasted from the work, I still try to keep on reading the story abou the King and the Pauper. After exchanging the status with the prince, Tom lives a different life. The King recogonizes that the current prince is not his son. However, as a king, he can't release this news to others, because their are too many consequences. The king and the intimate ministers keep the secret firmly in order to make the whole country peacefully. The related ministers take responsibility to help Tom to transfer to a realy prince, in dress, and behavours. On the way to be a real prince, Tom meets a lot of aweful situation. Fortunately, he works it out with the help of ministers who are faithful to the king and the country. Tom is on the way to be a genuine prince. He even learn the way of dealing with this kind of complicated situation by himself. He meets a servant of the previous prince and tries to get more information about the details of the preceding prince's life. He have a good use of this man. The future is unpredicable, more challenges are waiting for little Tom. One day, he meets his saveror, who save Tom's life from the drowning , a nice guy. However, the saveror is ordered to be headcut. He is wandering and thinks sth should be done to help the man out. But what he is supposed to do? 0-
