... mark of unreserved respect and aspiration that we should all celebrate

Hi all

Is this grammatical?

Holding candlelight vigils with tens of thousands in the Memorial Park is a mark of unreserved respect and aspiration that we should all celebrate.

Thanks

It is difficult to understand what you are trying to say. We do not usually celebrate an aspiration. Also a candlelight vigil is usually a very serious and somber occasion; a celebration is usually a joyous and noisy affair.

  • Minor change - Just say "in Memorial Park", not "in the Memorial Park", unless "the" is part of the name of the park.
