It is often argued that nowadays, the most dangerous problem to the environment is the disappearance of some species of flora and fauna, while other people reckon that there are many more different environmental issues. I think despite the loss of some species, we should be aware of different kinds of environmental problems.

On the one hand, there has been losses of many rare plants as well as animals, the extinction of dodo birds and white pigeons in Vietnam. For example, due to the harmful chemicals of factories, a large number of rare birds have gone, which results in some problems to the environment such as: there will be no more green area for those birds to live in so that the nature will look pale without survival of beneficial birds. Furthermore, deforestation contributed to the vanishment of some wildlife animals such as deers. Take China as an example, half of the wild animals population, especially deers disappeared in the tropical forest because of the continuity of fires to the forest.

However, there are more crucial problems that we need to consider about the environment. People have contributed a lot of contaminations to the environment. For instance, there is a growing body of research which suggests that 55% of pollution is air pollution, water pollution. All of these pollutants are made by humans and it is getting worse and worse every single day if people do not recognize how vital the environment is to our lives. Another impact of environmental problems is that a large amount of untreated sewage is dumped into rivers everyday which leads to many serious health issues as people use untreated water to use specifically in the countryside. The more unclean water is dumped into the rivers, the better chance for viruses and bacterias take over the place and it is very perilous for people living in rural areas as they do not have enough knowledge about the environment.

In conclusion, the loss of flora and fauna have made the globe a more dangerous place to live in along with many serious problems related to the environment. In my opinion, people should raise more awareness about the importance of the environment to our life so that possible measures can be taken to make the world a better place to live in.
