on my cv i dont no what to put as my marital status i am living with my partner?

You can use a number of terms. You may want to check with friends to find out what is commonly used. You could simply put "Not married" (which sounds as if it is "true").

I think it's a very easy question that they are asking you about your marital status and that means "are you married or not?" not anything else, so if you're married write it simply and if you're not write that you're not, got it?

Are you 100% certain that marital status is customarily included on a CV in the country where you are applying for a job?

It doesn't belong on one for the US, and I believe our UK friends have confirmed it doesn't belong on one used there either.

In fact, it is illegal for a potential employer to even ask about it.

This is a yes/no kind of question. Either you're married or you're not. If you are, the answer is 'married', if not the answer is 'not married'. Never mind about answering 'living with a partner'; just answer the question exactly as it's posed.

If you're writing a cv, for use in the UK, it would be better not to include your age or marital status.

Otherwise you may be encouraging your prospective employer to discriminate on the basis of either, which would of course be illegal.
