MANY vs MUCH

Which would you say please?

- How many minutes of battery do you have left?
- How much battery do you have left?

Could you tell me what you think of this please?

- If the elevator wasn't working when you left and it's working now. It probably means that they fixed it in the meantime. (is "in the meantime" what you would say in this context)

Thank you
