There are a lot of things that can affect the academic achievement and the growth of emotion of students. It is a common belief that students at their age can influence them more than their teachers. To my view, I partly agree with this opinion and this essay will explain it.
On the one hand, peers have a significant impact on students. To begin with, peers can motivate students to study harder. To be specific, when going to school, students want to keep up with their friends and have a desire to outperform their friends. Therefore, they wil study hard and as a result, their study result can be improved. Additionally, students tend to share with their friends their feeling rather than share it with teachers. This is because these friends at their age and they can understand, epathize their problems more easily. Besides that, while students usually have a gap with their teachers, they are much closer to their peers so peers usually the person who students prefer to share with. And in that case, these peers will give them some advice and affect their emotions, their thoughts when they help students to find the solution.
On the other hand, in some cases, peers have less of an impact than teachers do. First of all, teachers’ instruction is the main factor affect their study results. Teachers are people who teach them the basics, new lessons, and give them more knowledge. With teachers’ instruction and their own effort, their academic achievement becomes better. Secondly, teachers have a passive impact on their emotional growth. Students go to school almost every day so teachers are people who can observe the changes in their emotions. Teachers can figure out these changes through their behaviours, their results and their relationships in class. Therefore, they can talk to these students’ parents about the negative feeling of them and their parents can care about them more and guide them to go in the right direction.
In a nutshell, although peers have considerable influence on the academic achievement and the growth of emotions of students, teachers do not have less of an impact than them.

You did not write the right essay. You wrote a "discuss both views" essay.
When you have an agree / disagree, essay, take one side clearly. Give two reasons for your answer.
The transition phrases "on the one hand/"on the other hand" are not appropriate for agree/disag
