Many students find it difficult to concentrate or pay attention at school. What are the reasons? What could be done?

There are a large number of activities that could distract you from your tasks, especially stuff that look deeply amusing. This, somehow, is a big obstacle to some students when they are in school and having classes.

One of the reasons why learners cannot aim their attention at his or her subject is that what they are learning could not attract them like other tasks. Why we should bother a monotonous lesson when we can take a glance at Facebook news feed to check information, their message box, and people’s activities. Therefore, a vast number of students could not focus on their subjects.

Similarly, having too much works to solve at the same time could divert students’ attention. For instant, when writing their essays, they have to learn by heart some mathematical equations and get to know how a magnet works in the meantime. Learners can only concentrate on a subject in a very little time which is not enough to understand them clearly.

To solve these problems, from my perspective, teachers and tutors should students using phones or other mobile devices so that they could not open and check their social network apps during the class. On the other hand, making lessons that has a better content is one of the solution for the second issue.

To conclude, if this obstacle happens again and again, it can become one of the bad habits. And somehow, being distracting from your school’s tasks will affect many aspects of your life such as your scores, your relationship with teachers or tutors and so on.
