People have different views about which one is more influence on a child’s development, their family or other factors such as music, friends. In my opinion, family is the most influential factor for the development of a child. In this essay, I will point out some reasons to protect my view.

On the one hand, there are several reasons why some people suppose that family is not the main factor affecting directly a child but other factors such as music or friends. To begin with, some types of music such as classical music have been shown to have positive effects to the development of children’s brain. For example, some researchers in USA have proved that classical music stimulate a child’s imagination as well as creativity. This allows a child to become more intelligent. In addition, friends are also a factor that influences on a child. Since children have enough age to go to school, classmates are people they meet the most. Therefore, if a child made friend with a bad person, it would be easy for them to become a bad person too or vice versa.

However, I think that family is the main factor influencing on a child’s development. As children, who are under five years old, tend to imitate what they see from people around them especially their parent. So that if they lived in a great family where their parent love and take a good care of them, they might become good people. Meanwhile, if they lived in a family where their father or mother hit them frequently, it would make them to be a shy person or become a savage person.

In conclusion, while some people suppose that music or friends or something like that have a great influence on a child’s development, I would argue that family is the main factor that affects a child.
