Essay & Composition Writing

Many people prefer to watch foreign films rather than locally produced films. Why could this be?

There is a fact that foreign films are much more popular than domestically-made ones. There are two understandable reasons for it. The first factor is the quality of films. Because developed countries make an enormous investment in film-making, actors can freely perform lots of risky stunts with the latest tools. Plus, film producers also add special sound and visual effects to make blockbusters. In contrast, developing countries' budgets for film-making are meager, so directors hardly produce appealing films passionately. Another reason is local public's perception. Those people think international films are by far more fascinating than locally-made ones. Subsequently, foreign film tickets are always bought by a huge number of local moviegoers.
