Many people argue that in order to improve educational quality, high school students are encouraged to make comments or even criticism on their teachers. Others think it will lead to loss of respect and discipline in the classroom. Discuss both...

Open environment in high school is a considerable problem in recent years. While some people think that evaluations of students on their tutors will make school becoming indiscipline, I personally believe that educational standard could be better by this approach.

On one hand, there are some reasons why criticism on teachers should be limited. Firstly, some students give themselves a right to criticise any teachers who they do not like or who teach lectures they do not want to learn. An argument between lecturers and their student could be created affecting other students and effective in class. these teachers could be also fired because of feedbacks about them. Secondly, some teacher would feel vulnerable when they heard bad comments. they feel disrespect so they could not focus on lectures. therefore, these lectures become boring and less enthusiasm of teachers.

On the other hand, I totally think an open debate in class is a good way to improve educational quality. students, special weak students, have chances to express their feeling, their opinions. For example, Vietnamese students are often shy and fearful what they say are wrong. if this approach applies, students are freedom and confident on their ideas and their teacher would support them. besides, teachers also understand what their students want, what their levels..then find suitable methods for each student. An active learning environment is created which make the educational standard more progressive and efficient.

In conclusion, even there are a lot of comments about the way to improve education, I still believe completely that objective evaluation of teachers and students would affect learning significantly.
