Or 'many a night', which is more likely here. It is probably a typographical error.

'Many a night' is more romantic than 'many nights'.

'Night(s)' is the object of the verb 'spend'.

I used to spend many a nights dreaming for the day when you would come.'

spend many(here it refers to something else, perhaps dinners, games, adventures actually object itself, perhaps a kind of pronoun?) a night
it is like two dinners a night,3 times a week ,kind of saying

or

spend many nights(night is the object itself, refers to several nights,it stresses the effort h

No.

'Many a nights' is wrong English. The choices are 'many a night' and 'many nights'. These 2 have the same meaning and are the object of 'spend'.

'Many a nights' is wrong English.' of course this is wrong.I m trying to tell something else above.

I do not think they have same meaning. As I explained it has two different meanings .it is up to what you spend
I like to hear some native speakers about this.

are you nativespeaker ?

Thanks

There are not two different meanings, Sunsail. As I said, it would be better for you to read more threads and try to learn more English before you attempt to answer other members.

It is not irrelevant if it reveals my nationality and educational history, Sunsail.
This is why I will not let you post freely here-- you do not communicate well enough in English yet to be offering advice to others.
