Manicured lawns

Fences, signs, walls, moats with alligators, manicured lawns, or hedges are all physical boundaries.

Hello,

Is the allocation between manicured and lawns appropriate or unusal? I learnt manicure is relevant to nails of people's limbs.

Thanks
