  • Actually, I didn't read the original novel and I don't think the original film explains why "Manchurian" is used, but I'm guessing that it's supposed to suggest the Soviet/Red-Chinese bloc and all that sort of thing.
  • The silliest thing about the remake was that they kept the "El Dorado 5-9970".
