Vocabulary

(management)misperceive

Hi.
What's the diefference between 'misunderstand' and 'misperceive'?

"Nullification:Assure the worker he or she misunderstands os misperceives"

Thanks in advance!

I don't think there is any here really, though 'perceive' usually refers to the senses rather than to the mind. The context seems to suggest that this is a sort of rule or guideline, which like legal writing often uses overlapping terms to reinforce what is meant.
