Malia and Sasha are daughters of president Obama. They have moved to their home with their parents. What are the kids’ lives in the White House like? Are they having fun and enjoying their childhood there?
Last month, Jenna and Barbara Bush, the former Fist Daughters, wrote a letter to Malia and Sasha, sharing their advice on how to enjoy life in the White House. In their letter, Jenna and Barbara said, “Four years go through so fast, so absorb it all and enjoy it all!”
They are taking the advice. Ten-year-old Malia plans to use Abraham Lincoln’s desk for her homework. She thinks that will inspire great thougths.
But life for First Daughters didn’t use to be just fun and games. Althogh lots of people serve the president’s family, Malia and Sasha still have to do chores.
In a recent interview, the Obamas said the two girls set the table make their beds, clean their rooms and clear the dishes. They also have to practice playing the paano every day. If they do all of their chores, their parents give them a dollar a week.
