The easiest way is to add '-ing' and form the gerund. It is often the only noun available for a verb, but if a standard noun already exists, then the latter is usually preferable. Swim - 'swimming' Eat - 'eating' Run - 'running' but: Establish - 'establishing' or, preferably, 'establishment'.
