Can I write:

The tailor is making / sewing / doing the dresses.

Thanks. Can I say,

(i) The tailor is making / sewing / a pair of dresses.

(ii) The tailor is making dresses with a machine.

(c) The tailor is making a beautiful dresses.

In theory, that is possible. I would suggest simply saying "two dresses", however.
You could also say "a couple of dresses", but that doesn't necessarily mean exactly 2 dresses.
