Making and I sound like and E?

Hello, I'm trying to figure out what kind of accent mark I would put on and I to make it sound like an E. Is there an accent that would go over an O to give it the O sound rather than the OO sound? The word I am talking about is Incito, pronounced incheetoe. I need to know if the word would stay as is or do I need certain accent marks over the I and the O?

Thank you very much in advance.

I hope everyone is having a nice Monday Emotion: smile

Incito is obviously not a word of English origin, but rather Italian or Latin. Perhaps putting it in italics (common with foreign words), would alert at least some people that the pronunciation may be other than what an English speaker would expect.
