Making a sentence using the word " restrictive "

I am writing a paragraph, about what makes modern styles better than traditional styles, and at the end of my paragraph, i want to include the word " restrictive " as in a comparison between the two.

Here is what I wrote:-
Finally, I like modern style clothings the most, because it lets people express who they are, and what they like the most,<" should i use a full stop here or a comma ? " unlike the traditional styles, which are very restrictive in making people look how they want.

Or should i write:-
... which are very restrictive in letting people look how they want.

Are both sentences correct ?

A small question I'd like you guys to answer is, when people are asking me a question saying

" what are the details that helped you decide? "

How am i supposed to answer that question ?

The details that helped me decide to pick this shoe are...

Could you complete the sentence with an example," Is the comma usage correct here ?" of your own imagination please?
