making a sentence

Hello Sir,

1. She wears a necklace of pearls.

I have to rewrite it like

a) She wears a pearl necklace.

In the similar way

2. My father is an expert in computer.

b) My father is a computer expert.

If I have been given a sentence

3. My father is an expert in swimming.

How can I write it as (b).

Can I write?

c) My father is a swimming expert.

d) My father is an expert swimmer.

Interesting question. I'd say there's no real difference. B sounds more natural to my ear.

Perhaps one difference is that B tells me explicitly that he swims. A doesn't tell me that, although it implies it. Perhap

How do I improve my way of writing a sentence? I seem to be moving the arrangement of the subject and verb in all my sentences untill I am confused where I should them correct. If I keep using 'the', 'this' and the subject then it sounds like I'm a robot talking to my reader. What is the concept of sentence variety?
