Hello. Is the following sentence correct in terms of structure, please?
"This paper compares the performance of materials engineers with less and (or?) more than 10 years of experience."
I can think of another sentence: "This paper compares the performance of materials engineers having less and more than 10 years of experience."
Could it be written in a better way? I'm not sure whether to use "and" or "or."
Thank you.
"Or" can be considered inclusive in normal writing, the equivalent of and/or. That is not your problem, though. " I don't see a way to condense it as you have tried to.

"Or" can be considered inclusive in normal writing, the equivalent of and/or. That is not your problem, though. Clarity is all-important, so you need to change things around: "This paper compares the performance of materials engineers having less than 10 years' experience with that of those having more." I don't see a way to condense it as you have tried to.
