What does 'make your grandkid like vampires' mean?
(1) get your grankid to like vampires
(2) make your grandkid similar to vampires

In other words, I was asking if the word 'like' is (1) a verb or (2) if it's a preposition. Apart from the question in this particular context, I'd also like to know if, in different contexts, 'like' can act as either.

I haven't listened to it, but I suspect it's #1.
For #2, you would need "a vampire" instead of "vampires."
