Make up the sentence?

Need to make correct sentence with this set of words:

of the body of your letter/ If your purpose/ from your job/ is to resign/ you should/ state/ as in/ "This is to inform you/ this at the opening/ of my resignation effective immediately."


I think it will be like that:

If your purpose is to resign from your job you should state as in of the body of your letter this at the opening "This is to inform you of my resignation effective immediately."


Can someone check please? I am not sure that it is correct.
