Is this sentence natural?

(Man going to a party without his wife)

A- Why don't you want to take me along?

B- You know already. You say silly, stupid things and make the situation awkward.

Mr. Tom natural? It's natural, but in my opinion the last clause (in red) actually weakens the force of the husband's reply.
