Make something + a verb

Hi,

I remember when i learn the verb make, teacher said if make is placed in front of a person, we use first person present verb. If make is placed in front of the a thing, we use past tense verb to describe the action being done.

is it right in this case?

  1. "If the frequency f1 makes the L1-lengthed stick resonated, will other frequencies make this stick vibrated? Why? "

thanks,

I don't understand your teacher's advice at all, but your sentence is wrong. It should read: If the frequency f1 makes the L1- length stick resonate , will other frequencies make this stick vibrate ? Why?
