Make sense

Dear teachers,

I have made the following simple (or you could say, naïve),

experimental sentences, based on peculiarly Japanese way

of thinking for my personal interest in how native English

speakers would respond to them. Please give me feedback

on the short passage below --- a literal translation of my original

Japanese version for young school children. I hope I could

gain some linguistic, or maybe cultural, insight from different

people's ideas.

"We started to get Saturdays off at school from this school year.

Some people say life has become busier after all, but I am

glad I can spend more time with my family than before."
