Make possible sth or make it possible sth?

It is the lack of gravity on the moon that makes ___ leaps of 30 feet or more.
A. possible B. to be possible C. it possible D. it to be possible

I would choose C but some of my friends chose A. Actually I don't know which is correct. It would be easier if it were "make leaps possible"
Please help me to find the answer.

I agree! But as it is, what is being made possible is not just "leaps" but the much longer group of words "leaps of 30 feet or more".
They've taken "make | leaps of 30 feet or more | possible" and switched the order a little because of that long group of words.

We need to understand a few things to answer this question correctly:

1. make it possible (for somebody/something) TO DO something

2. make something possible

In this question, we have the second pattern. Of course, questions like that mix up the two patterns in the incorrect answer choices, so we have to make sure we follow the pattern exactly.
