Hello everybody.
At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter whether you make par on every hole or go over par by one stroke on half the holes and under par by one stroke on the other half. In the end, the only thing that matters is the total number of strokes you took compared to how many your competitors did.
I have no idea how golf is played and scored.
Make par means the number of strokes was standard and go over par means the number of strokes was more than allowed strikes and under par means less than the allowed strokes, am I right?
??
Jamal 1315 am I right? Yes. Each "hole", which is the acreage from the tee to the green, has a set par, or the number of strokes an expert can be expected to use to finish it.

Yes. Each "hole", which is the acreage from the tee to the green, has a set par, or the number of strokes an expert can be expected to use to finish it. There is a sign at the tee that shows the par for that hole.
