Which is more correct?
1. Make space(s) between words.
2. Clear space(s) between words.

If I were instructing a child who was learning to write, I'd say "leave spaces between words," but if I were recommending corrections to a printed text, I'd say "make spaces."

I agree with Delmobile:  you only say "clear space" when you're moving physical objects out of the way.
